　　The third season renewal of the Prime Video series ‘The Summer I Turned Pretty’ is yet to be officially confirmed by Amazon, but seems like internally it has been greenlit as it is currently preparing to begin production.
　　Coming to the production schedule, ‘The Summer I Turned Pretty’ Season 3 will begin filming on June 5, 2023, in Wilmington, North Carolina, and will take more than five months to officially wrap up on November 6, 2023. Jesse Peretz, Jeff Chan, and Erica Dunton will be the directors involved in the third season.

　　Ally McBeal and Billy Thomas were going steady throughout their childhoods. Ally even followed Billy to Harvard law school despite having no interest in law. But when Billy chose to pursue a career in law away from Ally, their relationship came to an end. In the present, an old classmate of Ally's named Richard Fish gives Ally a job at his law firm, where Billy and his new wife are also working. This puts Ally in a predicament since she still has feelings for Billy which she's laboring to get over. At the office, Ally puts up with a nosy, gossiping secretary named Elaine, and an oddball lawyer named John Cage never seems to lose a case. At home, Ally's friend and house-mate Renée regularly advises her on her love life. The series follows Ally's trials and tribulations in life through her eyes, and caricaturizes her personal thoughts and fantasies. Written by Ondre Lombard

　　Ryan Murphy dropped a teaser for a new series titled Grotesquerie in an Instagram post (see it below) on Friday. According to the post, it will star Niecy Nash-Betts — who has worked with Murphy several times before and is coming off an Emmy win for Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story — Courtney B. Vance and Lesley Manville and is set to premiere in the fall.
　　The teaser features Nash-Betts’ voice, sounding very disturbed about a crime scene: “I don’t know when it started. I can’t put my finger on it. But it’s different now. There’s been a shift. It’s like something’s opening up in the world — a kind of hole to the center of nothingness. What I saw today — they sent shrinks for everyone who worked this crime scene. You think, ‘Well hon, evil has always existed,’ and cite some statistic about how the world’s getting better, less murder, more help, less global horror, never been a better time to be alive, honey.”
　　Her voice cracking, Nash-Betts (or rather, her character) concludes by saying, “Come back. It’s not getting better. And I keep needing to hear your answers, because something’s happening around us, and nobody sees but me.”

　　Filming has started on BBC Two’s critically acclaimed drama The Last Kingdom, from Carnival Films. 　　《神探可伦坡》（Columbo）是一个有名的经典美国电视电影，由彼得·福克（Peter Falk）主演。自1968年~2003年期间，共69集。本片叙述一名总是穿着一件皱巴巴的棕色风衣，顶着一头乱发，嘴里叼雪茄，开着一辆老爷车的洛杉矶重案组的刑警主角法兰克·可伦坡（Frank Columbo）。看似不修边幅的他，总是以敏锐的推理能力侦破各种案件，并让犯人无从抵赖。
　　本片每集独立成篇，一大特点是每集中客串演出犯人角色的全为名演员与名人。另一特点是剧情采用固定的倒叙推理形式;先描述犯人作案的情形，而后描写可伦坡从与嫌疑犯的交谈及证据中确定其嫌疑，逼得犯人不得不自白。犯人原以为天衣无缝的杀人计划，都逃不过他的锐眼。他的一句名言是：‘世上没有完美犯罪’。
　　倒叙推理，着重如howcatchem（如何抓住犯人），而不是常见的whodunit（谁是凶手）、howdunit（手法）或whydunit（动机）。因此在日本若出现倒叙推理的作品，往往会被叫成‘神探可伦坡或古畑任三郎风格’。日本著名编剧 三谷幸喜 从小就可伦坡迷，长大后更是创作了’日本版神探可伦坡’－《古畑任三郎》。

　　虽然已在FX有《美国恐怖故事 American Horror Story》﹑《美国罪案故事 American Crime Story》及《宿敌 Feud》三部剧，不过Ryan Murphy仍然没停下步伐，他为FX开拍第四部剧《姿态 Pose》，并已获FX正式预订8集的首 季（预定18年夏季播出）。Ryan Murphy会编剧及执导首集，并与Nina Jacobson及Brad Simpson同为制片人。
　　被指是跳舞音乐剧的《姿态》会同时讲述80年代纽约在生活﹑社会上的几个片段，包括川普时代的初现﹑下城区的社会和文学，以及LGBT文化等。Evan Peters及Kate Mara饰演新泽西州的伴侣Stan与Patty，他们陷于五光十色﹑复杂的80年代纽约里。James Van Der Beek饰演财务龙头Matt，Peters为他工作﹑Charlayne Woodard饰演50岁的黑人角色（该角原本是Tatiana Maslany饰演，不过後来重新选角并修改了设定）。
