　　1993年，粗鲁张扬的男人约瑟夫·杜森特（乔什·布洛林 Josh Brolin 饰）在深夜遭人绑架。当他醒来时，发现身处一个完全封闭的房间。每天有人按时送来一成不变的饺子，却没人告诉他为什么将其囚禁在这里。他愤怒、沮丧、绝望、哀伤，通过房间里的电视机，得知前妻堂娜·霍桑被人残忍杀害、年仅三岁的女儿米娅被人收养的消息，而自己则背负了杀人犯的罪名。万念俱灰的约瑟夫求死不能，为了女儿他锻炼身体，试图从牢笼中逃脱。漫长的二十年过去，体格健硕的约瑟夫又意外地被人释放。他求助于好朋友恰吉（迈克尔·因佩里奥利 Michael Imperioli 饰），并得到了美丽女孩玛丽的帮助（伊丽莎白·奥尔森 Elizabeth Olsen 饰）。

　　John Day is a bank manager and lives with his wife Maria Day. The couple has recently lost their only daughter. Maria is always depressed and never opens up with anyone. One day when John is away for office work, a courier-boy enters the house and takes Maria as a captive, then a series of misfortunes start to happen.

　　This apocalyptic parable carries within it a clear echo of the 1968 invasion of Czechoslovakia. This unforgiving exploration of the Czech mentality tells the tale of a troupe of wandering actors who perform a passion play in some unnamed village. Fear of some unknown danger breaks out in the village, which is cut off from the surrounding world. Stupidity, selfishness and aggressiveness then come to the surface in this society under threat. In the film's key scene, a woman is raped by the self-styled leader. Zdenuk Mahler, who would later work on Forman's examination Mozart Amadeus, worked on the script.
　　The director Evald Schorm (1929-1988) was one of the most original members of the Czech "New Wave". During the "normalization" era, Schorm spent many years unable to direct. His last film, Killing with Kindness (1988) was only made in the twilight years of Communism. During that period when he was unable to direct films, he became an outstanding stage director. He directed groundbreaking productions at the "Na zábradlí" Theater and Laterna Magika.

　　En route to meet his estranged daughter and attempting to revive his dwindling career, a broken, aging comedian plays a string of dead-end shows in the Mojave desert.

　　When Outlaws on the lam invade the home of an unsuspecting, seemingly innocent, frontier family to hide out for the night, an unexpected game of cat and mouse ensues, leading to seduction, role reversal, and ultimately, bloody revenge.

Set during the Blitz in 1940s London. After writing twelve Poirot novels in six years, Agatha Christie should be a rich woman. Instead she’s struggling to make ends meet. When Agatha’s would-be-buyer suffers a heart attack, it seems unfortunate but benign. When her manuscript is stolen, a wider conspiracy begins to take shape. As the bombs fall and she investigates, the danger of her situation becomes apparent; Agatha herself is the killer’s next target.

　　Netflix开发改编自曼努·约瑟夫(Manu Joseph)同名小说的电影《Serious Men》。讲述的是一个狡猾的贫民窟居民，他欺骗国家相信他10岁的笨儿子是个天才，而后来意识到他的危险游戏的唯一受害者是他的儿子。将由苏迪尔·米什拉(Sudhir Mishra)改编并执导。

　　这是一部非常奇怪的影片，Annunciation --- 我查了下字典，它除了有“宣告，宣布”的意思，还有“天使报喜”的意思，来源于圣经中天使告知圣母马利亚她即将生育耶稣的那一天，西方的三月二十五日。表明本片具有很深的神玄学和宗教内容，事实如此，影片部分改编自众所周知的亚当和夏娃的故事，亚当和夏娃受到撒旦所变的蛇的诱惑而偷吃了关于善恶认识的禁果，从而被发怒的上帝赶出伊甸园。影片并没有过多讲述伊甸园内发生的事，而是着重叙述亚当和夏娃被赶出后所经历的奇异旅程，而这段旅程完全是由导演自己想象的内容！亚当变成了古雅典城的一位将军，后来逃出雅典，成为拜占庭时期的十字军战士，法国革命时期的革命领袖丹东，黑死病瘟疫蔓延时期欧洲的一个幸存者和目击者，乃至英国伦顿街头的流浪者，亚当和夏娃经历了无数的背叛和野性，残忍和法西斯主义，罪恶和恐惧。。。导演安德拉斯.杰勒斯天马行空，稀奇古怪的想象使这部影片充满了神秘主义和隐喻化的画面和内容，而时间早已洇灭在影片充满超现实主义和象征主义的电影语言中，更为独特的是，全片所有演员是一群8到12岁的孩子！说它是一部儿童片吧实在不能算，我奇怪于导演为什么让一群孩子去演这样表现人性黑暗面，深奥难懂的，史诗影片，全片如同诗歌戏剧般的台词和对白似乎对一群半大的孩子来说太难了，而且影片中的一些裸体场景似乎很难让未成年的孩童来演，导演试图用更年轻化的演员群体来更深刻的表现一些时代的阴暗恐怖和不合理性，这一点上与意大利导演帕索里尼的电影风格相似，比如他的引起广泛争议性的作品《萨罗》正是如此，而本片则有过之而无不及。但让人不得不佩服的是，所有的孩子都有令人惊叹的出色表演！体现出他们驾驭复杂深奥角色的超常能力。而影片中横跨匈牙利南方草原，山脉，古堡和海岸的美妙摄影以及五彩缤纷的服饰，与小演员们出色的表演一起，使这部奇怪独特的影片更加令人难忘，带给我们一次关于存在主义的奇异冒险。
　　让孩子去演出成人化的影片在影史中不多见，也许这只是极少数特立独行的导演更深刻的表现其电影主旨的一种奇怪方式，我曾经还看过一部叫《MALADOLESCENZA》的影片也是如此，用孩童来演绎复杂成人化的三角爱情，带给我的完全是一种清新优美到令人心碎的感觉，完全没有所谓的肮脏和龌龊，我想这是此类极富争议性影片的一种特有的风格。
　　值得一提的还有本片的摄影和音乐都是极为出色，如梦如幻的摄影术加之动人心弦的圣咏音乐为背景，让你恍若梦中般的唯美。
