　　Emi is a young ambitious girl who has been dreaming about a big world for years. Whenever an opportunity arises, she jumps into its modes without hesitation, becoming an exclusive escort. Soon it is she who, at the invitation of Arab sheikhs, begins to recruit Polish misses, celebrities, screen stars and models. However, this inaccessible, luxurious world will soon show its dark side .

　　越战时期，奔赴战场的美国大兵途径香港时，会在湾仔停留，这让湾仔自1950年代末的数年间，充斥靠他们过日子的纹身师傅、小要饭、拿着照片找爸爸的“杂种”、阿飞及实为妓女的Bar女郎，形成特有的风情。
　　Bar坊妈咪回乡找人做Bar女，家境贫寒、相貌不俗、个性倔强的赖水尾（夏文汐）和几个同乡姐妹从大澳渔村来到湾仔，开始卖肉生涯。起初，渔家女受到其他Bar女的嘲笑，但经过经验丰富的小伶玉（于倩）的一番调教，她们很快不输她人，易名水美丽的赖水尾更是出尽风头。风度翩翩却又年少轻狂的“杂种”Jimmy（黄秋生）幼年丧母，小伶玉将他养大后视作私有财产，不过Jimmy对她并无爱情，他心里只有不知身在何方的父亲。为Jimmy着迷的不止小伶玉一人，诸多Bar女只怪小伶玉将他看得太紧，他又不给她们揩油的机会。水美丽亦钟情于他。
　　某次Jimmy被阿飞堵截，水美丽机智将他相救，又相告有心听来的他父亲的名字，两人瞒着小伶玉开始恋爱。后来水美丽为了他与小伶玉撕破脸，主动离开Bar坊，而找到父亲的他早忘记当初誓言，拍拍屁股去了美国。一家不要家家不要的行规令水美丽成为街头妓女，但小伶玉这个机会亦不给她，无奈之下她去了麻油地，几年挣扎，境况越来越糟。亏得性情相投的黑帮大姐大王英（叶德娴）相助，水美丽东山再起，短短几年更将生意做到了尖沙咀。
　　随着越战的结束，湾仔渐成荒凉地，小伶玉亦变作风中残烛。水美丽念旧恩将她探望时，Jimmy恰好回港。听闻他是回港找妻，旁人都以为水美丽会与他再续前缘，对他早已死心的水美丽心底亦再泛涟漪，不料他早变作世俗之人，更将两人的感情忘得一干二净。其后水美丽有心将精力全部放在生意上，无奈时代风云不是她及待她若同性爱侣的王英所能把握。

　　《緝魔》劇情緢述溫子昇（莊凱勛 飾）是個作風暴烈的刑警，負責調查一起無頭女屍案件時，遇到前來驗屍的冷酷女法醫韓雪甯（邵雨薇 飾），他們查到死者曾在高俊偉（傅孟柏 飾）開業的醫美診所進行隆胸手術，韓雪甯突然向溫子昇透露大學時曾與高俊偉交往，還協助他做過一個案件的偽證，讓高俊偉成為頭號嫌犯！但溫子昇前往診所調查，卻更覺得疑點重重。此時，高俊偉約了韓雪甯見面，但韓雪甯竟動手刺傷了他，兩人複雜的關係讓案情更為膠著，看不清真相...

　　世界的另一边，外景主持人叶子与摄制小组来到遥远的乌兹别克，拍摄电视旅游节目。叶子在镜头前开心地品尝当地风味美食、体验传统捕鱼乐趣，即使饭冷没熟、渔夫刁难，她依旧努力挤出甜美敬业的笑容，默默吞下所有委屈，只能在深夜与男友的电话中，低诉寂寞心情。眼看即将收工返家，原定拍摄场景却被取消，文化语言不通的两方陷入争执僵局，究竟该放弃拍摄还是另找题材？世界尽头的困境也让所有人陷入茫然失措中，无处可逃……。
　　本片为日本与乌兹别克建交二十五周年的纪念制作，也是导演黑泽清继《显影的女人》后，又一部完全在海外拍摄的跨国之作。找来前AKB48偶像前田敦子主演倍受煎熬的女主持人，以及染谷将太、加濑亮演出遭遇重重困难的制作团队，一贯凝冽冷调的心理剖析，将看似欢乐例行的旅游节目制作，转为对文化冲击、疏离人心的虚实辩证，道尽现代人难以言喻的异乡孤寂。

　　陈帅（孟鹏 饰）是一个整日游手好闲的小混混，只求能在形势一片大好的电商浪潮中分一杯羹，然而却屡屡遭遇失败。一场意外让陈帅结识了名为张凯文（范逸臣 饰）的男子，志同道合的两人一拍即合，正式投身电商行业，开起了网店。
　　在此过程中，两人结识了尤娜（付曼 饰）和神通广大的白凯（邓宁 饰），一行人想尽了各种奇葩的方法，只为了能够提高店里的流量和销量。在白凯的帮助下，陈帅和张凯文迅速获得了巨大的成功，享受到了一夜暴富的刺激，然而让他们没有想到的是，他们渐渐落入了白凯一手编织的陷阱之中。得知了白凯的阴谋，良心尚存的张凯文理智的选择了退出，而经不住巨大利益的诱惑，陈帅加入了白凯的队伍之中。

　　当她的父母在一场突然的车祸中丧生时，电视演员弗兰基·金（Alana Hawley Purvis饰）在与家人疏远20年后回到了她位于阿尔伯塔省农村的家乡，面对这场悲剧。当她挣扎着与哥哥格雷森（乔·佩里饰）重新建立联系时，旧伤重新被揭开，家庭秘密被揭开。

　　This is an unusual film of exceptional values--75 minutes long in color, with hardly any spoken dialogs. I saw this Iranian film in Farsi without English subtitles at the Early Iranian cinema retrospective on-going International Film Festival of Kerala, India. That I was watching a print without subtitles did not make a difference as there were very few lines of spoken dialogs.
　　This is a very accessible film for any audience to enjoy--its story and values are not merely Iranian, it's universal.
　　The film is set in rural Iran that had not tasted petro-dollar prosperity. The setting is on fringes of desert land, where water is scarce, rainfall scanty and hardly any blade of grass is green. Add to it wind and dust that buffets and whips man and animal and you can imagine plight of the people who live on the fringes of society.
　　The film is moving tale of a young teenager returning to his village with a goat--only to find his family and villagers have moved on to escape natures vagaries and that one old man remains. He gives the goat to him and goes in search of his family. Water is scarce and well water it treated with reverence and never wasted.

　　彼得·杰克逊早期作品，这部纪录片以翔实的考察，细致地讲述了一段不为人知的电影史传奇，展现了一位默默无闻的新西兰人在20世纪初期为电影作出的革命性贡献。

　　Synopsis
　　"Falsely accused as the murderer of my own husband... Oh, the cruel machinations of fate!" A female teacher (Lee Yong-ae) gives shelter to an escaped convict, but her husband, misconstruing her intentions, reacts violently and accidentally stabs himself to death in the process. The teacher is charged with her husband's murder, but fortunately the prosecutor on the case is a former student of hers, of whom she had taken painstaking care when she was working at an elementary school. Remembering her kindness to him, the prosecutor uncovers her innocence in court, and she is acquitted of the crime.

　　"A silent movie that allows us to examine the narrator-accompanied method of 16mm films" (Chung Jong-wha)
　　A Public Prosecutor and a Teacher is familiar to us for the performance of Shin Chool, Korea's last silent movie narrator (known as "byeonsa"in Korean). Numerous critics have recommended the film, praising it as "a silent movie that allows us to examine the narrator-accompanied method of 16mm films" (Chung Jong-wha), "the work of Korea's last silent movie narrator" (Kim Hong-joon), a movie that "reflects the public's consciousness and has great historical value" (Lee Seung-hun), and "the archetypal new-school film" (Chung Sung-il). As evidenced by such commentary, A Public Prosecutor and a Teacherenjoys greater recognition for its historical value as the only surviving silent movie in Korea than for its artistic or technical aspects. What is ironic is the fact that this recognition derivesfrom a production and screening method that fell behind the times, as sound films (or "talkies") had already become the norm when the movie was first made. Its inclusion in the list is therefore based on its historical, social context rather than on the film itself.

　　吉井裕美（三輪明日美 饰）是一个生活在大都市里的时尚女高中生，在光怪陆离、物欲横流的时代，她身上不可避免沾染着爱慕虚荣的毛病。适逢假日，裕美和好友野田知佐（希良梨 饰）、横井奈緒（工藤浩乃 饰）、高桥千恵子（仲間由紀恵 饰）一同前往涩谷挑选泳装。偶然机缘，一枚黄玉戒指打动了裕美的芳心。为了赶在百货商场关门前买到戒指，四个好友通力合作，想方设法筹钱，甚至甘愿进行援助交际。时间一分一秒地流逝，女孩们为了戒指不遗余力……
　　本片根据作家村上龙的同名原著改编，并荣获1999年横滨电影节最佳新人导演奖（庵野秀明）和最佳新人演员奖（三輪明日美）。
