在《大咖先生》中，疏远的兄弟格伦是一个神经质的完美主义者，努力生活在郊区的理想中，李是一个有处方药成瘾和一个装满他父亲骨灰的饼干罐的大男人。这部六集的电视剧一开始是格伦和他的未婚妻一起过着非常平凡的生活，直到李在逃离过去的同时闯入了他们的生活。
