　　聚焦一个年轻的兽医去乡间的经历，有许多好笑、温馨、可爱的小事，哈利笔下的动物和人都充满灵性，给人春风拂面般的感触。1970年代曾被拍成多部影视作品。

《Dexter》消失在我们的视线中已经很久，最近终于传来了这部剧集第4季的新消息，Dexter的杀人之路将如何继续呢？

首先当这部剧集在秋季归来时，故事将会发生在第3季结束的6个月后，Dexter和Rita新婚之后，并生下来了一个男宝宝。

“在这一季中，我们将面对的是：一个连环杀手如何平衡个人生活、工作以及他的黑暗生活。”该剧的制作人Sara Colleton如此说：“换句话说，Dexter是否能够拥有一切？其实就是困扰着我们每一天生活的这些问题，非常贴近每个人，我们会看到Dexter如何来应对这一切。”

而Dexter本季的强劲对手男角色暂时还未选定，“他会照亮Dexter的生活，强迫他做出一切苦难的选择。”

至于Dexter的老妹Deb，将于继续迫近Dexter的黑暗秘密。“贯穿整季的故事中，Deb想了解她的父亲更多一些，于是她的调查越来越接近Dexter的亲生母亲的真实身份。”也许有一天Dexter不得不想办法“对付”自己的这个不听话的妹妹。

　　60年来，“外星人劫持”事件屡有发生，但在2007年7月的一天，随着一颗彗星飞向地球，引起恐慌的撞击没有发生，却是4400个曾在不同年代被劫持的人一次性回归地球。经过一系列医疗观察，美国国土安全局计划安置他们，帮助他们回归社会，但是这些人身上逐渐开始显现出“特异功能”，他们中有的会意念治疗，有的有的可以“造梦”，有的能听到别人思想，但是对他们来说，如何继续生活下去才是最重要的，被“劫持”的一段时间似乎从他们生命中硬生生砍掉了，世界的变化令他们始料未及，仍有人在追寻“劫持”的真相，似乎有更大的使命在等待他们……
