Having lost their parents to an accident at a very early age, they live with their uncle and aunt. Chotu is blind but he is anything but sad. Happy, precocious and a smart ass, he is the life of the village.Sakina is his eyes, his guide and his best friend. And Chotu is the center of Sakina's universe. As children sometimes do, not truly understanding the consequences, Sakina has promised Chotu that he will be able to see by the time he turns 9 and as always, Chotu believes her unconditionally. 　　泥瓦匠鲁二（张桐 饰）因为修缮皇宫，巧遇被太后软禁的皇上。皇上在鲁二私处刺青，拟诏派他营救天牢中的大学士（王劲松 饰）。鲁二临危受命，详细制订了营救大学士的计划。他为潜入天牢假意打劫，却无意中邂逅了赌场老板娘红中（黄小蕾 饰），二人不打不相识。红中有个死对头许三刀，因冒犯钦差大臣福尔摩也被抓入天牢准备问斩。鲁二在潜入天牢，在搭救大学士之时，刚好赶上刺客前来行凶，两人狼狈逃出天牢，福尔摩在后面紧紧追赶。在逃亡中，大学士对鲁二的身份表示怀疑，后者遂露出私处方才验明正身。正当二人准备按刺青寻找藏宝图之时，福尔摩、红中、许三刀等形形色色的人物也卷入了这场追杀……
　　本片是一部山寨版的《越狱》，其中花儿乐队、戴军、刘桦等明星友情出演。

　　看似普通一家四口的公路旅行，轻松欢愉的气氛随着一步步逼近伊朗边境而变得紧张，原来其中一位家庭成员因触犯反国家罪被通缉，即将要逃离家园。正所谓虎父无犬子，身为伊朗电影大师约化巴纳希的儿子，Panah Panahi首次执导的剧情长片已获邀参展戛纳导演双周，不但没有因父亲的光环受限制，更在处女作中展现出独特个性和精溢才华。同样值得留意的新星是戏中饰演弟弟的Rayan Sarlak，拍摄时年仅六岁，但已演技大爆发，充满魅力和活力的演出叫人眼前一亮。
