乱世忠魂

　　大佛像仍在山下等开光。铜像工厂外，一个是工厂警卫，一个是工厂老板，一个是靠资源回收过日子的潦倒男，就此交集出人间疯狂故事，连大佛都被扯下水。神明也会挑人保佑吗？人都不知道怎样当人了，大佛要怎样成佛？

　　本片荣获2003年亚特兰大及佛罗里达影展双料最佳影片。"安德鲁"与"卡尔"两人是高中好友，自称"双人军团"，他们的反社会情绪导致产生用枪枝血洗高中校园的念头，他们用V8摄影机自拍纪录了两人完成最后"任务"的始末，影带在两人身后被发现拨云见日，内容包括了令人不寒而栗的日常生活，观众竟然不由自主的被他们的聪慧、幽默、率直、真诚而吸引......

　　入围第66届柏林电影节酷儿单元，获第64届圣塞巴斯蒂安国际电影节(2016)地平线大奖 。小女孩rara生活在一个LGBT家庭，她同时拥有两个母亲，只有13岁的她一直感觉很幸福，直到亲生父亲的试图得到她的抚养权，事情开始发生了变化。

　　具争议性和开创性的喜剧演员伦尼布鲁斯的传记电影，全片追溯伦尼布鲁斯反政府的政治观点。全片以倒叙的手法，分别从母亲、妻子和经纪人的角度出发讲叙了喜剧演员伦尼布鲁斯的一生。
　　在伦尼布鲁斯早年还未出名之际，那时他只是个普普通通的喜剧演员，他遇到了跳脱衣舞的哈妮，并爱上了她。不顾经纪人阿蒂和母亲的反对，伦尼坚持同哈妮举行了婚礼，并与老闆发生争执，因为他坚持要按照自己的个人风格进行表演，老闆一怒之下将他解雇。这时，哈妮受伤住进了医院，伦尼在探病期间同一个护士关係暧昧，对此有所察觉的哈妮同伦尼吵闹了一番。后来，他们搬到了加尼福尼亚。虽然伦尼极力反对，哈妮还是重操旧业，当起了脱衣舞女。
　　伦尼沉迷于吸毒不能自拔，哈妮生下了一个孩子，夫妻间常为吸毒的事而爆发激烈的争吵。有了孩子的第二年，他们分手了。因有贩卖毒品的嫌疑，哈妮被捕入狱。伦尼此时却因发挥出自己的喜剧天才获得观众认可，在事业上有了突破，成为红极一时的明星，但知名度却并未改善伦尼的境遇......

　　在大约1900年的布鲁克林，尽管贫穷和爸爸的酗酒，诺兰一家的生活还是很有乐趣的。我们通过大、小的麻烦来了解这些人：茜茜姨妈的可耻的一连串“丈夫”；从他们的公寓中可以看到那棵树；年轻的弗朗西想要转学到更好的学校……是否不负责的爸爸可以一起行动呢？

　　乔，十七岁，和酗酒的母亲相依为命，却总得不到母亲的关爱；乔遇见了黑人水手吉姆，共度人生的第一次，然而吉姆跟母亲相继背弃了她。就在乔被迫自谋生路时，纤细的同志杰夫走进了她的世界，伸出温暖的友谊双手……

　　在菲律宾的唐人街，有一对出生入死的好兄弟——火武（樊少皇饰）与耀扬（张耀扬饰），两人智勇双全，有一副好身手，但一直没有机会出人头地。一次火武因伤人入狱。在狱中被狱官百般羞辱，幸好被大哥利楚雄搭救，利楚雄赏识他们的才华，收火武、耀扬二人为左膀右臂，在二人的帮助下，利楚雄的对手被一一扫除，他也成了唐人街的领袖。但就在此时，耀扬爱上了利楚雄年轻貌美的妻子（张文慈饰），并对其大展攻势，利对此非常不满，派人暗杀耀扬。火武得知此事，抢先一步将利杀死，耀扬登上社团主席的宝座，兄弟俩春风得意，成为呼风唤雨的风云人物。耀扬更将远在香港的妹妹（陈晓淇饰）接到菲律宾一起生活。谁知耀扬上位后性格渐渐发生变化，火武、耀扬之间产生了间隙……

　　吉村公三郎代表作，也是蘇珊．桑塔最喜愛的日本經典片之一。吉村愛向難度挑戰，喜歡實驗，討厭被歸類，是松竹的壞孩子，卻因此為日本電影開創出不少可能性。影片描寫日本戰後，末落貴族變賣大宅前舉行的最後一場舞會。吉村親歷這樣的一個舞會，他用所見所感，寫出一個個玲瓏浮凸的人物：戀棧風光的父親，目空一切的兒子，不肯放下身段的大女兒...道盡大時代的種種細碎。也是原節子代表作，這個洞悉世情的次女兒與父親起舞，成為全片焦點，也為時代作了精采的解讀。
　　World War II is over, and the once-prominent Anjo family has fallen on hard times. They must finally sell the family home - but not before one last ball to recapture their glory days. However, old secrets and high emotions threaten to turn the evening into tragedy. Proud patriarch Tadahiko (Takizawa) can barely keep his unruly offspring in check, and tries every last trick to keep the house where he has spent the happiest years of his life. In his darkest hour, daughter Atsuko (frequent Ozu heroine, Hara Setsuko) shows her beleaguered father the hard-won dignity in starting over.

　　日出而作，日落而息，千百年来人类遵循着古老的生存法则，在严酷的环境中努力生存。
　　广岛濑户内海的孤岛之上，生活着一对沉默的夫妇（乙羽信子 & 殿山泰司 饰）和他们两个活泼懂事的孩子（田中伸二 & 堀本正纪 饰）。因岛上没有淡水，夫妇俩每天清晨便要早起，摇橹至对面岛上挑水，一家的吃穿用行与农作物的灌溉全靠夫妇俩挑水维持。春去秋来，严寒酷暑，每一天都是崭新的开始，每一天都做着永远做不完的农活，喜怒哀乐，全部随着清水融进恒久沉默的大地……

　　The famous writer Bernard travels to a small town nearby a lake to spend vacation out of season in the winter. He check in an old hotel owned by Enrico and his daughter Irma expecting to meet the maid Tilde, from whom he had a crush last time he visited the town. However, he discovers that Tilde has committed suicide and when he meets the local photographer, Bernard learns that she was pregnant. He becomes obsessed to find whether she really committed suicide and to guess what really happened. When Enrico's son Mario and his wife Adriana arrive at the hotel, Bernard has daydreams about the fate of Tilde.

　　Synopsis
　　"Falsely accused as the murderer of my own husband... Oh, the cruel machinations of fate!" A female teacher (Lee Yong-ae) gives shelter to an escaped convict, but her husband, misconstruing her intentions, reacts violently and accidentally stabs himself to death in the process. The teacher is charged with her husband's murder, but fortunately the prosecutor on the case is a former student of hers, of whom she had taken painstaking care when she was working at an elementary school. Remembering her kindness to him, the prosecutor uncovers her innocence in court, and she is acquitted of the crime.

　　"A silent movie that allows us to examine the narrator-accompanied method of 16mm films" (Chung Jong-wha)
　　A Public Prosecutor and a Teacher is familiar to us for the performance of Shin Chool, Korea's last silent movie narrator (known as "byeonsa"in Korean). Numerous critics have recommended the film, praising it as "a silent movie that allows us to examine the narrator-accompanied method of 16mm films" (Chung Jong-wha), "the work of Korea's last silent movie narrator" (Kim Hong-joon), a movie that "reflects the public's consciousness and has great historical value" (Lee Seung-hun), and "the archetypal new-school film" (Chung Sung-il). As evidenced by such commentary, A Public Prosecutor and a Teacherenjoys greater recognition for its historical value as the only surviving silent movie in Korea than for its artistic or technical aspects. What is ironic is the fact that this recognition derivesfrom a production and screening method that fell behind the times, as sound films (or "talkies") had already become the norm when the movie was first made. Its inclusion in the list is therefore based on its historical, social context rather than on the film itself.
