　　The story of La Maison revolves around 27-year-old Emma, a French woman who heads off to live in Berlin and decides to spend some time in a brothel so as to learn about and understand sex workers – women who are paid to be women and that alone, and who are set to form the focus of her new novel. In gonzo journalism style, Emma becomes one of them and ultimately remains with them for two years, despite only intending to stay for several weeks. Was writing her book simply a pretext for Emma to live out the type of fantasy that’s hard to admit to in our society? From one bedchamber to another and from one woman to the next, the film guides us through a “forbidden” world.

　　夏天的某个夜晚，21岁的时子（木下美咲 饰）失去了girls bar的工作，漫无目的行走在东京街头。不经意间，她跳上了开往长野县的深夜巴士。朝着8岁之前和父亲一起生活的山间小屋进发。另外，在时子模糊的记忆中，那个小小的镇子里住着一位男孩，目前高中二年级的陽平（泉澤祐希饰） ，他非常喜欢画画……

　　Claudia and Maria, roam the streets of the city of Guatemala. Claudia works at a call center and is uninterested in the world around her. She lives with her activist grandfather, who tries to persuade her to join his cause. Maria unlike Claudia, is more spontaneous and lives with her mother in the outskirts of the city. The chaotic streets are filled with common stories of abuse, unforgiving police officers, and charming secret corners. Everything changes one night when they are attacked by three men. Although they manage to escape, Claudia is faced with the dilemma of choosing revenge or listening to her grandfather’s advice.
